J, here - Founder & Fellow Cyster!

Now that you've found us, it's only right to receive a good introduction! Chances are you stumbled across this platform while researching #PolycysticOvarySyndrome, #PCOS in short. Perhaps you were signposted by someone who was researching the topic. If not the first two options then you strolling in here today was definitely down to us flooding your social feed with colourful, engaging, *cough* IN YOUR FACE *cough* posts! Either way, you are very much welcome over this side of town and as the Founder, I would just like to say that I am extremely happy to have you here!

Let's start off by going over some ground rules:

• This is strictly a non-judgmental space. Anything less than this will not be tolerated.

• If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.

• This is a communal space (/ˈkɒmjʊn(ə)l,kəˈmjuːn(ə)l/ adjective / shared by all members of a community; for common use.) Source: Google. We are all here with a common goal; as a community of #cysters, we are all here to learn and support one another as we all navigate through the world of #PCOS.

• There are a lot of terminologies we use that you may or may not be familiar with. Never fear, all will be explained so you do not leave here feeling confused.

Let’s throw all stigmas out the window as we work to increase our community of support for ourselves and our fellow #cysters.

Terminology:

#PCOS - Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

#CFTS - Community for the Cysters

#Cyster - A light-hearted term for someone with PCOS (even if your ovaries have no cysts - because we know that's a thing with PCOS)
